Hey everyone. Yup, it’s E again. This is probably going to be the last post we’ll have for a little while that’s pretty dry and focused on pure mechanics for the game. Though despite the fact that the post is called Time, we’re actually working on fleshing out how Time can be used even more extensively in Ash and Flowers but for now, this one just focuses on the biggest focus about time: The Augur Clock.

I’m pretty sure we mentioned this before but if not, the game is a doomsday scenario where there’s a limited amount of time left to try and save the world. There is an actual real world Augur Clock that’s keep track of everything that the people of Azraeém are not consciously aware of but we wanted there to still be a way for players to easily figure out the time left before the start of the game and the end of the game in a way that could impact the kind of outcome that they have (that way the decisions they make and how they choose to play will actually mean something).

It’s very basic right now but again – we’re pretty happy with where it stands in terms of it’s foundation. It’s possible we’ll flesh it out a bit more but for now, here’s a look at how the Augur Clock feature of the game functions. For those of you who really like playing a game all the way through, it’ll probably be something really appealing, otherwise it’s possible that some may find this grating.

We hope you enjoy.

Cheers.
